BioI got into Stargate recently in the hopes of a likely-to-be-resolved-soon ship as season 8 was deemed to be the last season of the show. Talks of season 9 make me twitch. God darn it! I want some cute easy ship for a change! Is that too much to ask?
If I do get it, I think I'll then only get into shows when they reach their final season. It will spare me years of frustration and fandom wars. *g*
